VPDJ is an anonymous benefactor who contacted a village resident before the 2015 Gala, offering a donation
to boost the Gala prize fund, which was accepted. They then made further donations to The Beavers, The Hut,
LCRA for the 2016 Detox, The Heritage Society to contribute towards a new road for parking at the church
above the village, and for a new PA system for the hall and gala.
Their moto "liberalitate vitam dat propositum" translates as "generosity gives life purpose". The meaning of
the heraldic animals (a bird of prey and a fox) is not known.
